Kom Kijken! ‘Lets have a look!’

An exhibition about the legacy of Antoni van Leeuwenhoek and the world of microbiology. The visitor gets guided in a reverse chronology. From projects with futuristic technology, to current research, historical moment and ending at the grave of van Leeuwenhoek.

The materiality is a play on the church’s iconic wooden ceiling and tall stained glass windows. The lightness of the framework blends with the light and spacious feeling of the space, while creating a focused zone on the curated objects. Polycarbonate panels form open and closed spaces, sometimes revealing by its translucency, sometimes revealing by openings. A play on its theme and title.

The design is flexible and completely demountable. The framework is getting re-used in various exhibitions and events hold by the TU Delft Science Center.
